General information for those unfamiliar with using the Adobe Reader Search option: You can run searches to find specific items in PDFs files or all PDF files in a specific location (RE a CD, DVD or location on your hard drive) through any open PDF file. You can run a simple search, looking for a term within in a single file, or you can choose to run a more complex search looking for the term in all of the PDFs on the disk.  Of course the second option will take longer but it will avoid having to open all the files individually and doing multiple searches.  You can run a search using either the Search window or the Find toolbar.  The Search window offers more options and more kinds of searches than the Find toolbar.  Please be aware that the indexing of PDF files is not perfect and it is possible a word could be missed.  If you need any further information please visit Adobe's Search Feature help page.
